Functional NFTs meaning the NFT must do something?

Wondering about the meaning of "functional NFT". Should the NFT have a function outside of being an NFT? Or functional NFT as in, a functioning NFT (so just a working NFT)?

  Hey Terence,

  Thanks for the question. Functional NFTs would lean more towards have a function outside of just the NFT itself (e.g. automated royalties). While this is a preference, as it allows for more exploration around what's possible, not having functionality would not limit the ability to participate in the hackathon.

  I believe that if the NFT had some kind of function, then it would be a breakthrough, because it's cool, in fact, there is a huge number of useless NFTs, otherwise there would be at least some benefit. Take at least for example take for example this project https://overline.network?a=4rq1nZU0u4Qm
